Overview

Annapurna Base Camp Trek is an adventure trek into the heart of Himalayas. It is best for first-timers as well as for small groups who love to travel with their friends and families. It is one of the most popular treks in Annapurna, a perfect mix of landscapes, lush forest, high mountains and diverse cultural existence. The setting of Annapurna Base Camp is incredibly spectacular and brings you close to the majestic peaks of Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), Machhapuchhre (6993 m) and Hiunchuli (6441 m). The adventure begins in Kathmandu.

Drive to Pokhara in the mid-hills in snakeway road adds more fun to the journey. A day at Pokhara provides more fuel before hitting to the lap of Annapurnas. The trek starts from Nayapul through the villages, forests and stone stairs to Ghorepani where we get reward of early rising and climbing to the ridge for panoramic views of the Annapurna. The journey continues to the soaring heights of Annapurna Base Camp and we have a change to say “Hello” to the majestic peaks and people living on the base. This trek is perhaps an eye-opening journey to the Annapurnas.
