The tour begins as you hike to Dhampus is easy and provides an opportunity to see the villages working in their farms and houses.Dhampus is not only an ethnic Gurung village but also a fantastic viewpoint to witness the magnificent Annapurna massif. Sarangkot is a pleasing hillside over the Phewa Lake. From Sarangkot, you can see the views of Pokhara valley Annapurna I (8,091m), Ganesh Himal (7,422m), Manaslu (8,163m), Dhaulagiri (8,167m), and many other mountain peaks. The people here are friendly and welcoming.Sarangkot is also famous for hosting paragliding, and a variety of the sport at that. During your stay, you get to taste the homemade meals, see local handicrafts and observe the customs of these people. The final day of the tour takes you to the beautiful Phewa Lake. In Pokhara, you can enjoy a variety of places which are known to be of great interest to the tourists. The trail is very easy to follow so even the beginners can enjoy this experience will no difficulty. Sarangkot Dhampus Trek can be done in all seasons but it is better to avoid the monsoon season as frequent rain can block the scenic views of the mountains.

Itinerary

Day 01: Pokhara to Dhampus village|1640m| 4-hour walk| overnight in the lodge.

After a good breakfast at the lakeside hotel, you take a short drive to Phedi. From Phedi, you start walking uphill through the cultivated fields with spectacular views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.Passing Milanchowk, Hyangja, and Phedi on the way, you reach Dhampus. During your stay, you get to taste the local meal and experience heartwarming hospitality of the villagers. Overnight stay at Dhampus.

Day 02: Dhampus village to Sarangkot|1592m| 5-hour walk| overnight in a tea house.

Today’s hike starts with a walk across the village to Naudanda. The trail descends down to Dhampus and crosses a river before ascending through the paddy fields to reach Naudanda. Sarangkot is a short walk away from Naudanda and offers mesmerizing sunrise over witness the panoramic parade of the mountain peaks like Annapurna (8,091 m), Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), and Fishtail (6,997 m). In the daytime, you can see both the locals and tourists paragliding in Sarangkot. You spend a night in Sarangkot, during which you can observe the cultural diversity, fascinating architecture, and intriguing lifestyle of the local people. Overnight stay at Sarangkot.

Day 03: Sarangkot to Pokhara|820m| Pokhara sightseeing

On the final day, you wake up early in the morning to witness the sunrise view from Sarangkot. After breakfast, you trek downhill to reach the Phewa Lake. After reaching the lakeside area, you can do some boating or stroll around the lakeside. You can also check out other places nearby such as the Tal Barahi temple and World Peace Pagoda. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.
