Tashi Lapcha Pass Trek

Upon your arrival, you’ll be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel. A trek briefing will be provided, and you’ll have the chance to explore Kathmandu’s bustling streets or relax after your flight.

Spend the day visiting some of Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath and Boudhanath Stupa In the afternoon, finalize your trekking preparations, check your equipment, and ensure all necessary permits are ready.

Embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu, passing through picturesque landscapes, river valleys, and traditional Nepali villages. Upon arrival at Gongar Khola settle in for the night.

Begin trekking through dense forests and along the banks of the Rolwaling River. The trail offers scenic views and leads to the village of Simigaon situated on a hillside with amazing views of Gaurishankar.

The trail climbs steadily through dense forests and waterfalls, offering increasingly panoramic mountain views as you head towards Dovan

Continuing along the valley, pass terraced fields and small villages before reaching Beding the largest settlement in the Rolwaling Valley. This picturesque village is surrounded by stunning mountain views.

Rest day for acclimatization to the higher altitude. You can explore the village, visit the local monastery, or hike to a nearby viewpoint for more views of the Rolwaling range.

Trek further up the valley, following the Rolwaling River to the seasonal settlement of  Na Gaon The scenery becomes more alpine as you gain altitude.

Another day to acclimatize, with opportunities for exploring the surrounding glaciers or climbing nearby ridges for better views of Tso Rolpa Lake

Today’s trek takes you along the moraines towards the stunning **Tso Rolpa Lake**, surrounded by glaciers and peaks. The blue-green waters of the lake make for an excellent stop before pushing onwards.

The trail becomes rockier and more rugged as you cross moraines and approach the Trakarding Glacier .This part of the trek is both challenging and rewarding as you enter high-altitude terrain.

Continue trekking on rugged glacial terrain towards the base of Tashi Lapcha Pass The views of surrounding peaks are incredible as you prepare for the pass crossing the next day.

The highlight of the trek: the challenging Tashi Lapcha Pass crossing. After an early start, cross the pass and descend towards the base camp of Pachermo Peak The descent involves technical sections and requires care.

For those interested in climbing, today offers the opportunity to summit  Pachermo Peak a relatively straightforward trekking peak. A climbing permit is required, and technical gear is provided.

Begin descending into the Khumbu region trekking to the village of Thyangbo The landscape becomes greener and the trails more defined as you approach the Khumbu valley.

The trail follows the Bhote Koshi River passing through several small Sherpa villages before reaching Thame known for its ancient monastery and its ties to famous Everest climbers.

Descend further into the Khumbu, arriving in Namche Bazaar the vibrant hub of the Sherpa community. Spend the afternoon exploring the town, enjoying coffee shops, and visiting the local market.

The final trekking day takes you through Phakding before arriving in Lukla Reflect on the incredible journey during your last night in the mountains.

Enjoy a scenic flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy some free time in the capital.

Relax and explore Kathmandu at your leisure. You can visit more historical sites, go shopping for souvenirs, or just rest after the trek.

Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
