Your journey begins with a short scenic flight to Pokhara. After a short drive to Nayapul, your trekking officially begins. The trail passes through the beautiful Modi River mostly along the dirt road. Passing pasturelands and lush forests, you reach Tikhedhunga. Then you walk to the beautiful village of Ulleri where you will have your very first view of the snow-clad mountains. Afterward, you will walk across intriguing hilly landscapes and beautiful rhododendron forests to reach Ghorepani, which is the base of Poon Hill. The following day, you will hike up to Poonhill before dawn. At sunrise, you will be left in awe of the unveiling. When the sun’s rays hit the mountains, the color changes from ivory to burning saffron; the sight is really mesmerizing. You will be presented with a 180-degree view of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountain Ranges and their surrounding peaks. The fun and adventure don’t stop there. While on your descent to Pokhara, you will come across the beautiful Gurung village of Ghandruk. You will have plenty of time to interact with the people and get to know their traditions. You will then return to Pokhara where you will love to chill by the lakeside. On your way back to the capital, you can opt for a 6-hour long beautiful trip by road or simply fly over the mountains in a short flight.
